Library volunteers are always extremely important to the success of the Library. To honor the hard work of our volunteers, Glenwood even has a Library Volunteer Hall of Fame. Please consider becoming a library volunteer!
Glenwood's library is always an exciting place to be. In
addition to a fine collection of books for pleasure reading and
research, there are eight computer stations available for student use,
and a state-of-the-art library system, Follett Destiny. Students are able to access electronic encyclopedias and on-line library resources. All
of Rose Tree Media’s libraries are on a union catalog--staff members
are able to search and check out materials from all of our schools. And each school’s library collection is posted online for community viewing.
There are several ways you can help. Parents can come each morning (approximately between 9:00 - 10:30) to assist with check in and re-shelving of books.
Parents may also help out during regularly-scheduled library sessions (especially in grades K-2!). Students get more attention and guidance in book selection, and parents enjoy seeing their children’s classes. Please
check the library schedule on the website for times and days.
You can also sign up to help at the book fair.
