Instructions for “The Communicator” e-alerts

The School District websites have changed this year.  Therefore, the previously distributed instructions on how to sign up for the “Electronic Communicator” have changed.  Below are the new instructions on how to sign up for the “The Communicator” electronically.

·         Sign into the District Website (www.rtmsd.org) with your email and password.  A separate letter was sent home in the Open House folders from the district on how to set up your “Parent Registration”.  You must do this first.

·         Go to “My Account” in upper right hand corner.

·         Go to “Edit Account Settings” when you hit the drop down arrow.

·         Select the “Subscriptions” tab

·         Click on “Add Area”.  Instead of seeing a drop down box with items to select you must enter the information you are looking for on the website.

·         Enter “The Communicator” and click search.  You may have to click search twice.  You should see the following:

·         Check the box next to it and hit “Save” at the bottom of the page.

We hope to reduce our paper consumption by providing everything to you on-line.  This way you can view it all and only print out what you need.  Not to mention making it easy to find that form you missed last week - weekly packets will remain posted for up to 2 months.

Please turn in all of your box tops for the month of September and Summer box top collection bags by Monday, September 19th -  This will be the first collection for the 2011- 2012 school year.
