PSAT's - The 2020 PSAT/NMSQT exam will be administered in person for all 10th and 11th grade students at Penncrest High School on Wednesday, October 14th, from 7:30 am until approximately 12:15 pm. No registration or payment is necessary. Transportation will be provided for all test-takers. Ninth and twelfth grade students will access their classes asynchronously and should not report to school on Wednesday, October 14th. Senior Class Meetings & College Application Process - On Thursday, September 10th, counselors met with their respective seniors via a Zoom meeting. The college application process was discussed with particular attention given to accessing college applications, understanding application deadlines, using Naviance, requesting transcripts, requesting recommendations, reporting SAT/ACT scores and information about test optional schools. Seniors must reach out to their counselors by email or phone with questions. All required forms must be submitted by email to your school counselor. Application Bootcamp for Seniors - Let's get moving on these college applications seniors! This is an exciting time in your life and a moment that probably quickly sneaked up on you. Please keep in mind that your school counselors are here to help you. In order to assist you with your college applications and other items related to the college application process, counselors have developed this PowerPoint presentation. Please read through each slide as you navigate through this process during the summer and fall. At the start of the school year, counselors will provide seniors with additional information about the role of their Naviance account during this process. Also, view "College Application Prep" on the guidance website for additional information and instructions. Please plan to meet with your individual counselor for additional assistance when we return to school.

AP Exams 2021 - AP exams will be offered on May 3-14th, 2021. Registration is taking place now. College Planning and the COVID-19 Crisis - To assist students, particularly juniors, in navigating the college admissions process including college searches, testing,test preparation, college "visitations" through virtual tours or college Q&A sessions, as well as coping with the stress of our current situation, the counseling department has developed this PowerPoint presentation. Kaplan SAT Prep at Penncrest High School - In light of the ongoing COVID-19 developments, Penncrest High School and Kaplan want to ensure that you feel confident and have the tools necessary to be successful on test day - whenever that may be. Penncrest High School was scheduled to have an SAT Prep class, starting on 4/25. That class will still happen, but in a Zoom classroom where there is no danger of exposure to the virus. Zoom classes enable our instructors to mimic the in-person sessions that we are unable to run at this time. With Zoom instruction, you will have the ability to answer questions using voice or chat and you can be on camera to allow for personal connection.

Naviance Login Changes - Due to new privacy laws, Naviance changed the log-in requirements for students. This change did not affect parent accounts. Click HERE to view the new Naviance login precedures. If you have any questions or difficulties accessing your Naviance account, please email your counselor or schedule an appointment.

PSAT Score Reports - All sophomores and juniors who took the 2019 PSAT in October now have access to their scores online and with the paper score report, along with the student’s test booklet returned to them prior to winter break. To access scores online after December 10th, please follow the link below:
