Welcome to the Glenwood Library

Welcome to the Glenwood Library

The Glenwood Library contains over 18,000 titles, including fiction, nonfiction, and reference books. Six computers are available for student and teacher use. Anthony Grisillo (Mr. G) is the teacher librarian for Glenwood Elementary School. He is assisted by parent volunteers. Please call Mr. G with any questions at 610-627-6944.

Each class has a regularly-scheduled, fifty minute library time; kindergarten comes for twenty-five minutes every six days. Blocks of library time are available for teachers to schedule for additional instruction or special events.

Parents are welcome to volunteer in the library for morning check-in and re-shelving, during their child's library time, or for special events such as book fairs. Parents may check out books (including those from our professional collection) using their child's patron card.

We encourage students and parents to enjoy the Glenwood Library!

It is not true that we have only one life to live;
if we can read, we can live as many lives and
as many kinds of lives as we wish.
