To be consistent with our Mission Statement in Rose Tree Media School District, we have an obligation to prepare students for an ever-changing world, that sees technological advancements happening at a rapid rate. We believe that every student has a right to an education that prepares them for further education and/or future employment, and develops the skills that they must have as citizens of the 21st Century: creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. In a 1-to-1 environment, we will ensure that all students have the opportunity to learn in an engaging environment reflective of the world that surrounds us.

Printing at Home from a Chromebook (setup directions)
Families can set up their home printer so that their student can print to it from a chromebook. This is a one time setup.
If you already have a cloud ready printer set up in your family, follow these directions.
If you have not set up a cloud printer follow the steps below:
Note: If your home printer is a classic printer, you must use a computer in your home that can already print to your printer. If you have a cloud ready printer, the student may use the chromebook to do this. To learn if you have a cloud ready printer, click here
Step 1. Visit https://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn/
Click on Connect your printer.
Step 2. Click on the type of printer you have (Cloud or Classic)
Follow the directions and prompts.
If you cannot connect your home printer to the Chromebook, students can login to their Google account from another (home) computer that is connected to your printer and print from there. Students will not be able to email from their Google account to another non-district email account, such as @comcast.net or @verizon.net.
