Mission:  The Red Cross is a humanitarian volunteer organization, dedicated to helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to life’s emergencies.

Services: Provides emergency response to those who call.  A 24 hour hotline is available.  People affected by a natural or man-made disaster can receive immediate help with food, clothing and shelter.  An emergency messaging service for men and women serving in the US Armed Forces is provided.  Health and safety courses are offered for a fee.
