Registration for Evaluation & Testing

Last Updated: 8/26/2019 8:09 PM

The Rose Tree Media School District is required under the Child Find obligations of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to evaluate and identify all children residing in the district who may be eligible for special education services and eligibility for a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE).

Students who attend non-public schools, charter schools, or who are home schooled must register with the District so that we may verify residency prior to initiating the request for evaluation.

Registration for Evaluation and Testing is for testing purposes only.  Your child is not assigned a classroom in the District.  If, following the results of the assessment, you choose to have your child attend the Rose Tree MediaSchool District; you must notify the Registration Secretary at 610-627-6019.

The District establishes enrollment limits for each grade to maintain small class sizes.  Students who register for elementary grades that exceed class size limits may be assigned to an alternate building until space becomes available.  Transportation will be provided for students who are assigned an alternate building until such time that space become available in the home school
