The goal of the Curriculum and Instruction department is to fulfill the district mission of ensuring that students will reach their intellectual, emotional, social, and physical potential in a safe environment that celebrates diversity, individual talents and efforts, and promotes collaboration, caring, respect, and leadership. Through the curriculum, the content of what students learn, and instruction, the methods the teachers use to deliver instruction, the department actively works to develop, promote, and implement research-based programs that are aligned vertically K-12 and horizontally across all content areas.
