Becca Horne Sepan
Penncrest High School, Class of 1995
Becca Horne Sepan graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering and from the University of Maryland with a Master of Engineering. Becca Horne Sepan works at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in spacecraft mission operations for the New Horizons mission to Pluto and the Kuiper Belt and the MESSENGER mission to Mercury. She started her career at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center working on the Terra and Aqua Earth Observation System missions and the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM). In addition to her interest and work in space exploration, Becca Horne Sepan is a member of NASA’s Solar System Ambassadors (SSA) program, where she works to inspire her community by sharing NASA science and mission discoveries through a variety of events.
Nancy Achuff Coffman
Penncrest High School, Class of 1968
Nancy Achuff Coffman is a leader in national and international women’s lacrosse. Her love of the game began while at Penncrest High School and has grown to have an impact on the sport well beyond our community. Her experience as a player at Penncrest and West Chester University grew into an extensive coaching and umpiring career. Her international umpiring resume includes six European Championships, six U-19 World Championships, and four World Cups. Nancy Achuff Coffman is an inductee of the Eastern Pennsylvania Lacrosse Hall of Fame and is recognized as the foremost trainer of new umpires in the Philadelphia area.
