The ensembles under his direction are the 6th, 7th and 8th grade bands. He also directs the Jazz Lab and Jazz Band. Mr. Reno attended Washington Township High School in Sewell, NJ. In 1992, after his sophomore year in high school, Mr. Reno marched with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps as a soprano bugle player. Mr. Reno holds both a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and a Masters of Music Education in Music Technology from West Chester University with additional graduate credits from the University of the Arts in conjunction with Villanova University. Mr. Reno is a member of the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) as well as Technology in Music Education (Ti:ME). Mr. Reno worked with the Washington Township Minutemen Marching Band as an instructor. He also worked with the McKean HS marching band part time. Later, he studied drill design with Lee Geisler and became drill designer for the Owen J. Roberts High School Marching Band. Mr. Reno then joined the drill design team under Todd Marcocci at Under the Sun Productions in West Chester, PA. Mr. Reno served as Band Director at Chichester High School from 1998-2002 in Boothwyn, PA before accepting the position as the Director of Bands here at Springton Lake Middle School. Mr. Reno also designs the drill and arranges music for the Penncrest Roaring Lions Marching Band.
Mr. Reno is married to Jennifer Reno and resides in Media, PA. He has two kids, Amelia and Andrew. When Mr. Reno is not teaching, he is performing in a band on the weekends or building instruments like the Project V!
