It is very helpful to practice at home. It is best to practice a little every day. Practicing for a short time every day will be more manageable and beneficial than practicing for a long time one day a week. Research shoes that distributed practice (try 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes at night) is better than mass practice (such as an hour a week).
To achieve distributed practice more easily, try to incorporate daily practice into activities you already do - such as homework and play. In this folder are some suggestions for home speech and language practice using curricular materials and fun games. Remember that a good, clear model from a grown-up will help.
