When can parents preview the maturation video?
The videos are now available online to preview:
- Let's Talk Puberty for Girls
- Let's Talk Puberty for Boys
When will the fourth grade students view the lesson?
The students will be viewing the video / lesson during their scheduled encore time between 12:40-1:30. We encourage adults to have a conversation with their child prior to viewing the material. Should you decide that you do NOT want your child to view the video, please either call, email, or send a written note to your child's grade level teacher.
Do the students receive anything during the lesson?
P&G School Programs provides us each year with student kits. These kits provide education booklets for boys and girls. Each year varies, but most of the time they also include samples such as small travel-size deodorant. These packets are a great resource that can be used for parents and children to communicate, ask questions, and be informed of the changes that they will be going through over the next few years.
